Happy Advent and a Merry Christmas! This will be our last e-bulletin for 2019 so I want to wish you a Merry Christmas in advance.
Please be sure to take note of the Mass schedule and Center schedule in this e-mail below.
I especially invite to attend our Christmas Eve Mass on December 24th at 5pm in our beautiful new chapel!
2019 has been a beautiful year––we saw the dedication of the new chapel on November 6, great generosity and success on iGiveCatholic Day a couple weeks ago, and a year of growth together towards becoming the saints God has called us to be. I am deeply grateful to God for the gift he has given me to serve as your chaplain at Tulane Catholic. I am grateful to all of you as well for your support and prayers for this ministry.
Looking toward 2020, I am also excited to announce our new Student Leadership Team, beginning in January:
President -
Gabrielle Yoes-Favrot Spirituality -
Bailey Mirmelli (chair)
Music -
Courtlin Naquin (chair), Vanessa Dike, Virginia Truxillo
Service -
Evan Nagesh (chair), Helen Scholten
Social -
Renee Silver (chair), Sophia Nelson
Outreach -
Serin Park (chair), Paige Veal, Chris Tamburin
Liturgy -

Please pray for them as they begin leadership in the new year. Thank you to all those who served on SLT2019, and thank you to our new SLT for your 'yes' to servant leadership!
On Christmas Day I will head to Memphis to visit my family, then make my way to Phoenix with other Tulane Catholic students for SLS2020, a conference for Catholic student leaders.
I'll be back in the new year, at the Masses on January 12th. I wish you all safe travels and happy holiday celebrations. May the rest of your Advent be blessed, and your Christmas be joyful and restful. I will remember each of you especially in my Masses for Christmas and the new year.
