Whether we find ourselves in light or darkness... darkness is not dark for You, and night shines as the day (Psalm 139).  God is present to us in the darkness and the light.  We can become saints in moments like these.  This is our mission: to help each other grow together into the saints we are called to be.  Any crisis is no obstacle to our sanctity – it is the means by which we become saints.  No matter what is going on around us, we can still be faithful, and love God and our neighbor.
