Mission Honduras Team - January 2017
Hi! My name is Michelle Situ, and I am one of the leaders of Mission Honduras! Being able to be in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Honduras and to walk in faith and life with them has truly been a blessing from the Lord! The people that we meet are so joyful and so filled with Christ's love. Though they might not have much, they actually have everything.
My name is R.J. Taylor. I'm originally from Woodridge, Illinois, and I'm one of the leaders for Mission Honduras! Before coming to Tulane for my MA in Latin American Studies, I completed my undergrad at Georgetown University and spent a year working in Washington, DC. I went to Honduras this past January, and I am thrilled that I have the opportunity to go back this May and continue growing in solidarity with the people of Honduras!
Hi! My name is Marty Anderson. I'm a first your FOCUS missionary at Tulane and I'm excited to be going on this mission trip to Honduras! I am most looking forward to meeting the locals and seeing the graces that Jesus has in store for everyone involved with the trip!
My name is Carson Piontek. I am from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and I am currently studying Architecture and Classics as a freshman at Tulane University. I am looking forward to working and living in solidarity with the Hondurans, bonding together, learning from each other, and all the while helping to create a better community physically and spiritually.
Hi, my name is Isabel Anderson and I'm a freshman from Alexandria, VA. I am majoring in Public Health and minoring in Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship on a Pre-Medicine track. My dream is to one day found an organization that addresses healthcare disparities in developing countries and in poor areas of the U.S. I have been on medical and public health service trips to Ghana and Honduras and a general service trip to Costa Rica. I'm excited to go on Mission Honduras because I want to spread God's incredible love in humble service to my brothers and sisters in Christ. Thank you so much for your continued support and prayers!
Hi! I'm Madeleine, I'm from Baton Rouge, and I'm studying Sociology and Dance. I am so excited to return on Mission Honduras because truly saw God's love at work in the relationships we formed with the people we encountered. I cannot wait to grow deeper in relationship with them and with the Lord, to learn to serve better, and to learn how to live more simply and more joyfully.
My name is Riana Gaudet and I'm from Baton Rouge, LA. I'm a friendly, fun-loving person who enjoys going on adventures as well as relaxing with friends. I've been on three mission trips in the past but I'm excited to go on Mission Honduras because it will be a new experience and a new opportunity. I hope to form friendships with the people there as well as grow in my relationship with God. I can't wait to take on this new journey and see what it has to offer!
